lol I never moved the text?

yea I spent an hour in a half on that to enter it in a SOTW...it's funny how I never manage to get above a 4.5 out of 10 score...I somehow get the picture that people don't ever vote these things properly.

Roshi 04-06-2007 12:05 AM

weird when i first looked at it the text cut off the bottom

GeeFuss 04-06-2007 07:10 AM

Nothing matches together. Need to work purely on composition.

are you kidding? post up the winner and i'll tell you which ones better

i really like this one though, i think everything flows good and i like the colors and styles you used

lol i was looking at sigs on sotw.com .. wow .. all the "best" ones are such generic sigs, some are just crops out of other peices, and i wouldn't be surprised if hafl of them are rips

Rayne. 04-07-2007 01:52 PM

nice signature i like where the focal point of the signature is. As far as Sotw.com it is always rigged but... then again most of the winners deserve it because almost all of them are all made completly from scratch like this one.

http://www.sigoftheweek.com/index.ph...g=42&display=1

thats all done with smudging and other filter effects.

and like this one made by house is compsed of two different programs, Illustrator and Cinima 4D.

Im just saying most people like clean cut signatures, grunge isnt appreciated as much as it use to be.

Bustin 04-08-2007 12:33 AM

Well imho it doesn't matter if it's made from scratch, it's the final result. There shouldn't be bonus points because it doesn't use a render.

Pinpoint 04-08-2007 10:42 AM

rofl just went to that sotw site, everyone is b*tching about whats easier, "omg all you did was throw some c4d in it!", "just abunch of random c4d plopped together". Personally I find it funny how people do not see the time needed to make a nice render in any 3d program. In my opinion it matters very much if a sig is made from scratch or not. If two sigs are created, one where someone just took a render from the web and added brushing/filters to it, and another where someone spent the time to make everything seen in the sig obviously the more impressive one would be the sig in which everything was made.
