Conection interruptions BHD
 

:D Had a terrible problem with connection interruptions during the game. Didn't matter which server. Sometimes it could last a minute. By that times the server saw my pings as too long and punted me. Finally found out there was a switch in my path (/d) that I had to remove. I understand it has something to do with skins. Anyway, removing the /d switch fixed it. Hooray! It was very frustrating. Just thought I'd let you guys know in case anybody else is having the same problem.

Please post here what u mean by /d switch

on your desktop right click the delta force icon and click properties and then target. See if you have /d at the end of the target. If so delete this /d and then try the game. This switch allows some features of maps you might have downloaded from here. You might also try reinstalling the latest version of the game. Hope this helps

I'm pretty sure the /d at the end of the target has nothing to do with your connection in the game. All it does is allows the program to look for skin files outside of the pff files in the main folder.

I believe BHD(and prolly some of the others) has a host option that will block the use of skins, seem to have seen a reference to it at some other forum
