Been a while - 4 years based on the new private message I just read lol.

I keep thinking of this place off and on, but it was seeing Novahq's link in Panic's sig over at task force elite that brought me back. edit: Which I just realized is Steve lol

icishoot is a name familiar to me, and I really only ever remember names of mappers whose work had really impressed me, or I remember trolls. You don't write like a troll, so did you make maps?

It's died down a lot around here, but we still keep the lights on for the stragglers :bigthumb:

@Baldo - No, not a troll. I have made maps, but never uploaded them any where. So unless you played in my squad's *CS server, you haven't seen them.

As for my maps impressing any one... who knows. My favorite map making accomplishment was show cased in a map I made called "It's A Mess" - I found out how to mess up the textures in a map.

I guess there is just a third category of past players you remember: Trolls, Mapmakers and ME :D


@Scott - glad to hear every thing is going good. I'm doing great. Just reliving the past when every thing BHD related was at it's peak :D

My brain is a roomba, collecting fluffy things and mold. I hope someday to learn how to connect useful info to healthy synapses, but I haven't had much hope for that since my fiftieth birthday.

Please accept this attached screenshot of tweaks I've made on the Final Conflict mod. Why the roomba wants me to offer this is not known to me.

I'm realizing how old I am.... I can't remember the name of the squad I formed after moving to BHD. Squad tag was =*CE*=. ..<pause here as I try to find it>>>

<<<back an hour later or so>>And thanks to novahq still being up I was able to remind my self of the name: Commandos Elite. Funny thing is in trying to refresh my memory, I did a search, and found a squad on here also named Commandos Elite - they posted in 2003. Yet, in all the years of playing, I never came across them.

I really wish I had thought to save all my old squad sites as I moved on.
