My friend gave me an Hp laptop and my dad installed windows xp on it and then he decided to go with windows vista. After he installed vista, i tried to connect to the internet with wireless, but no networks would show up. then i put diagnose problem and it says "this computer does not have a wireless network adapter installed and configured---install wireless networking hardware and verify that the correct drivers are loaded"...i dont know what to do..

they are not the same as Windows Xp use, you need a new set of drivers so windows Vista can see your wireless plug-in counts on the wireless if it a older version there may not be any drivers or software to run in window vista for your unit, still check with the maker of the wireless mfg site www----.com who made your unit if you like later on i search for it Model: MFG: i know about Links MFG for wireless basic all others are the same with updates and newer version for Vista drivers/ software |
