New PC Case with optical drive bay.

I am in an urgent need of a new PC Case since the old one has taken a kind of physical beating. However, it seems that the cases these days have abandoned the optical drive bays.
So the search becomes specific and narrow. I have a MSI B450M Pro-2 motherboard (microATX form if I'm not wrong), with a corsair 550W PSU and an optical drive. Need some budget friendly suggestions. Thank you.

probably amazon.

all gamer designed cases now, do not have bays for any type of reader drives. they only come with hdd bays and several places for ssd's.

this is to maximize the airflow through the case.

you can still find older style cases on amazon.

Also, if I'm to buy an external optical drive, any particular suggestion for that? There's not a lot of options there also, but still.

i'd probably go for an external, they seem to all hold a slim laptop type dvd drive these days. some have usb hubs and SD card readers built in. there is a large choice on Amazon, but i don't know if you have that etc

if you are going to go with externals, just get one of the gamer cases. you can just run usb on them.
