Your GFX Contest ideas
 

It would be good to hear any suggestions you might have about the themes of the GFX contests here @ DFHQ.

im trying to be a bit different than just sig of the week ( although i might throw a few of those in ) so gimme some ideas that are a little different please :)

and cause we like serving the DF community it would be great if it was stuff that we could put up for download to :)

How about Sigs for Old Games we may have played as kids...Like Atari or nintendo games...With Character names and all..Like a real Sig..

I think we should still with sigs. A lot more people would be willing to make them. Just make each week a different theme.

Sigs are a bit overused, I like the idea of having different themes! it brings out some talent!

T-shirts, squad banners, tourny award images..

DFHQ "new" banner

Military recruiter posters.

box designs, manual designs... etc etc.. the list goes on

Sig for Trilogy. :D

Winning sig will be displayed as my sig on the forums. ;)

How about having it so its all everybodys own work not cutouts from the game or the website.There is a lot of original work on here.And it would be more of a challenge.

You never know it could make some go onto better things
Sofware houses are always looking for 3D graphics artists and 2D art ;)

hey guys just saw yoru site liked the sigs pretty cool

I like the idea of custom wallpapers. And the image manipulation was fun, and offers a degree of difficulty not found in sigs. Also someone mentioned avatars, I like that idea.

anything gose. type combat type fighting, from any of them game that Novalogic came out with. StevanB they can have anything in it as long it as some thing to do with DF-Serials.

How about if when you go to start the next competition, you look to see who has requested a sig. Lock the thread so no-one can reply, then have everyone make a sig for said person. And just for fun, unlock his thread, post them all in and make that person choose a winner :D

Could be fun.

How about "A Sig for Trilogy" cause mine are getting old. The winner I will display. :)
