That's what I thought - the blue piece would come out of itself. So just as the blue piece goes into the yellow piece, the blue piece is emerging from itself. :p

There would be a huge explosion destroying everying within 100k miles of the 2 portals because 1 atom cannot be in 2 places at once. after the explosion there will be a tear in time/space where the whole universe is slowly sucked into another dimension and and thus destroying 2 universes in one shot.

well for one thing it couldn't come out itself because it wouldn't fit, and it would be going into the portal 1 so it wouldn't be around to come out of itself.

I agree with jet, it would create a time and space fabric paradox that would suck the whole universe into a black hole of nothingness in which all life will be destroyed. :D :D :D :D I know, I watch too much Stargate SG1. :D

No because that would be transfering the item. the atoms are inside the portal during the transfer. transfering the portal itself would put the portal in 2 places at once. :catfight:

well it's a simple rule of physics that no matter what, an atom cannot be destroyed nor can one be created. so if it goes into a portal and tried to come out of itself and there no where to go, then it's effectively removing the atoms from existence which will create the time space paradox that creates the black hole that sucks the whole world in and destroys all life. :D

all because some guy on the Internet got curious. which in turn is was makes the pic so damn funny. ;)
