Dave61 Website Retired
 

Sadly and inevitably, the Dave61 website has now been retired.

Over the years this particular site has been a valuable resource for the mapping community here.

On behalf of all those who have benefited from his works, I'd like to thank Dave61 for the provision of the site and the personal support he has provided us over the years.

Thank You Dave...

Why was it retired?

Because of inactivity in the game.

If anyone is interested in any of the DFX files that I had on my old website then I would be happy to send them to you, just ask.

This may take awhile. looks like it may be too big to send through email.

So, I may have to put a link from my website (when I get it uploaded) so it can be downloaded here only.

I'll let you guys know when it's ready.

Still working my friends .... looks like some of the old files may have been corrupted.

I will continue to work on it.

I may need to separate the files into multiple downloads.

The files til now are about 100mgs ... gotta lot to sort out.

I think I have an archive of some files from your site Dave, PM me on the ones you think are corrupt and I'll see if I have a copy.

I'd like to make sure I have them all on file in the end too.

So far i was able to get the color codes for the .wac files, a couple of cammo and ammo mods, my wac scripts.

I think Novahq already has my DFX2 wave list and the bin file maker (however my binfile maker included a tutorial and a weapon.def file).

I'm still having problems with the terrain pics and enviroment pics. I did use a link to the RGB site https://web.njit.edu/~kevin/rgb.txt.html .

I will continue to work to get the other files off the data disk that my files are stored on.
