Servers Need Sniper Limit
 

I think that Servers in this game need a limit to how many Snipers can be on each team I have seen this in other games. I think 4 on each team is enough. Its not that I dont like sniping but if u play in a 32 player server I would say u have about 7 ppl sniping on your team and out of that 7 only 3 ppl acctually take up good spots that u can snipe the battlefield. The other 4 are way off on some far hills where ur barely able to see any enemy. There newbs. I think the game would be funer if there were more ppl assaulting.

all of them if you can see a target shot it 50cal see better then the rest only drawback is sound it make all people can use any weapons they like yea its bad when 75% of your team is sniper's hurts the gaming a bet but then there are armory / command screen at startup to change up weapons to suit the needs of the team.

Last night I was playing a game on a Nova server and out of about 30 ppl on the server there were 20 snipers. I just think it would be funer and there would be more action if there was a sniper limit on servers.

not every server has snipers, just find one that doesn't have a lot. Or become a sniper yourself and take out the other snipers to the point where they don't care to snipe anymore. That's just an idea.

I would like to add that joining a squad will give you that team feeling.

If its a good squad, they have someone in charge of tactics, and they wouldnt set it up like that.

Thats the only way I see you getting what you want.

Nonsense. No offense, I just don't agree that there needs to be a limit, and I don't even snipe usually. Besides, the host can choose what weapons are and aren't allowed. Maybe you can find a cqb and gunner only server? I've seen several. Of course, no Nova servers are like that though...

I wouldn't like a sniper limit, and anyway nearly all the servers are running CQB maps. I would like to see more servers running some good open landscape sniper maps. Im sick of all those people who run around with a SAW and just have the trigger pulled all the time. Its no fun.
I have found being a medic is good and what i play on most map if not im sniping.

Another thing is the game mode type. TKOTH is way better then TDM. In TDM people are running around confused as to what they should do. And rightly so because there is no objective. There should be more servers running some game modes with objectives. People work more as a team in those game modes.

Let me see more TKOTH/CTF/ATT-DEF

speaking as a sniper...the best way to combat us is too play in a CQB server...I nerver play in them cause I always get wrecked from Gunners.

Yea Awac, I hate how some ppl go around with the SAW never letting up on the trigger you couldnt do that in real life because you have to conserve alittle bit of ammo.

I just try to stay out of the sight of snipers. I look at all the palces that they might be and I find defilate from there positions.

Well speaking as a sniper who doesnt go 500m out to a spot cuz it wastes time i say that u should just run inbetween buildings where they cant find u. they r either n00b snipers who go 500m out or good snipers who find a roof or nearby hill to snipe on. trust me running inbetweeb buildings works i am also a good Med. lol wat a weird combo. Sniper and med. haha. =) o and most n00bs get pissed easily so just keep yelling at them telling em off ect. and they will leave. lol it works on most of em.

you may have more fighter if the word gets out how some do that lame jump bet were you see them jump funny not normal
other then that most don't like to die give other team point its really pointless if a player die 50x only kill 10 people thats real bad

Vampire there is nothing wrong in going out to some desolate place. I can only laugh at those snipers that lay on the same hill or the same roof. When laying on hills and roofs your being very predictable. That is not good if your being a sniper. Sure i will to from time to time go up on those roofs or those hills. Maybe take a shot or two but never 3 and i know i have a high risk of dying up on those "n00b" spots.

Sure not many people can hit moving targets from 500m and if they dont hit em on first shot it will be pure luck if they hit on 2'nd or 3'rd if the target starts to evade.

But 350m is not unrealistic and you can make som good 3 shot hit ratio from that distance.

Its like the first CTF map in Demo2 where one of the teams started by this big hill. Damn i wasted so many people who thought they where clever to be laying on that hill. Everybody did it. It was to easy.

What a sniper should really do is to find himself a good hidden spot, where he can over look a small arc of high enemy proberbility. Laying on a hill top you are very exposed.
Saying this it all comes down to the game your playing in. Some servers only has CQB people running around they don't spot anything, i have managed to be hidding in a bush and wasted 20+ and at 25-100m distance before i was seen. Some games the n00b places work but against another good enemy snipers it just won't do for very long.

Hey, don't take this the wrong way. I'm not trying to flame or insult you. I just think it's funny that this game's barely two weeks old and already there's people throwing the word "nOOb" around. I see it in servers alot too. Yeah, I know the demo was out a while, it's just funny to me.
