Looks like it maybe a great game , if it plays as well as the previous COD games!
I'll probably buy it.
But, I'm alittle concerned though how the "scandal" would effect how the game will be supported (ie. patches, tech support, servers ...etc).

Should be no effect - it was IW that was really being affected.

Game looks good and I'm happy it's spanning 2 or so decades. Hopefully there'll be some mod support for the game? Treyarch seem more than happy to make PC users a bit happier. :D

im probably only gonna get it for the SP, seems how every single COD game ever made (as of COD4) is full of 10th prestige hackers in MP

Yeah I heard it was an upgraded version of WAW with modern skins.

I just watched the trailer for the first time, whats the first thing I hear? cliched man speaking in a low pitched and constipated cliched voice narrating in a cliched fashion, revealing a cliched plot.

I don't know if they patched this issue yet, but on the PC version, sometimes your frame rate was dependent on your network speed. Since every second frame it would send data concerning what you're doing so they can prevent unfair modding that way. But like I said, its dependent on your network speed and you can expect severe frame rate loss. Of course they done goofed the PC version.

Got got started playing Black Ops ... so far not really impressed.

Would rate it as OK, that's it.

I would say the vulgar language used in the game was not neccessary.

Mine's still in it's box along with Modern War 2, I was told I MAY have to download up to 13Gb of updates, so have put it on the back shelf.
It's heading to the place here, where all the pc stuff just disappears, including the latest
"Realtime Landscaping Plus", now if that aint a way for a female to ruin a guys christmas, I don't know what is ...

That's alot. I didn't have that much with either one.

Just hate using STEAM. STEAM (to me) is a big user of startup ram & is too controlling.

I did remove STEAM from startup, but hate to load it just to play my games.

13 gig of updates? I think you may have been mis-informed there..

I love steam, "using too much memory" isn't even an issue to me. I buy most of my games over steam and right now during the Christmas season they're doing a huge sale. Needless to say I now own about 20 more games, most of which are fairly recent, for only about $50 total. Steam lets me chat with friends in-game and join them without having to ask them for the server's IP.

STEAMs' okay if you play multi. I perfer not to play online.

Therefore STEAM is useless to me.

Why Call of duty:Black ops zombie Mode or Zombie whatever doesn't Working?
Me and my Friend in my Country Searching Clues about how to Fix Call of Duty:Black ops Zombie Mode.

If your talking about the Black OPs II : Zombies then I can't get it to work either!

At first when I clicked on the ZOMBIES campaign it would jump back to desktop and nothing would happen. Now, it starting to loop back to the BLACK OPs II game.
I've reinstalled the whole game 3 times (thank GOD for the STEAM cloud) but nothing has helped !
If you figure out the fix, please let me know !!!

if you using a short version.then do this simple steps:
1. Go to router settings
2. change to LLC based
3. Re-install Black ops 2 multiplayer
4. enjoy ;)

Okay, finally got Black Ops II zombies to work.

Lol, nothing wrong with the game. Just me (lol).

Been doing it wrong all along. I feel so ashamed !

It had to be played online, then choosing either solo or multiplayer play (smacking myself for not figuring it out sooner).

But, think about how the screen was setup. Why was CAMPAIGN setup on the ZOMBIES section of the Black Ops II game?

If it was a ZOMBIEs campaign then it should have said "ZOMBIES CAMPAIGN". It should not have meant a Black Ops II SP campaign !!

That was misleading !!!

That was why when I clicked on campaign (in ZOMBIES) that I was redirected back to the Black OPs II SP campaign.

I know what ya mean. It was my mistake.

It took a support chat with Activision to finally figure it out.

I asked why ZOMBIES didn't work, they seemed confused but never explained how the game was launched (but continued to ask about multiplayer).

So it dawned on me to try another route. That's when I tried ONLINE and it worked.
