is youtube being retarded for anybody else? it tries detecting my preferred language and my location, so it says Germany, and i say cancel when it tries changing the language. then it won't let me sign in. only when i go to a video. when i go to youtube, it says im signed in and my location is worldwide, english language

YouTube uses the RealPlayer, doesn't it ?
Try uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers for the RealPlayer.
