how is the pistol? anything like the h1 pistol?

It's wayyyy too short. I beat it on Heroic in 6 hours. Last level is amazing though.

The IGN review said the AI was a bit easy (and possibly the missions I think).

it shoots like the H1 pistol, but doesn't have a scope and isn't as powerful.

havent played SP, its all about MP for me

yeah thats pretty gay. that is the only thing I was looking for in h3. The h1 pistol and h3 so... :(

You do realize the pistol in H1 was incredibly overpowered right.

it taken them 2yrs to release the Halo 2 for the PC after they release it for the Xbox 360

maybe another 2-3yrs before we see it for the PC Halo 3

i have Halo Ce with the mod as will Pc, still play it.
going to see if Halo 2 Pc is around to buy
that was the whole point of the pistal overpowering 50cal pistal, still i would love the fool thing as it was scope and power. it kick big time.

I got the game, and we stayed up till 3, then woke up at 7 to go to school. Then after school to work. Then after work to here, and then to play a bit more. The game is extremely fun. I plan on beating it tomorrow on normal, so I can move on to heroic. I've never actually played the SP halo, I always do MP cause I find the SP sucks. However, the SP in Halo 3 seems to be awesome.

that is why that game was so good instead of this crappy duel wielding. h2 and i have not played h3 but h2 had so much autoaim it was stupid. h1 acually took some sort of skill. You acually had to aim and stay on the person yourself.

Halo 2 & 3 did Gearbox help? to make them like they did in Halo CE? at all

i know Bungie and Microsoft game studios have a hand into Halo 3
but don't know if Gearbox they gone with them in making Halo 2/3

3 well placed shots from the pistol would kill you. That was the gayest thing ever because by the time you turned around you were dead. I do agree with the auto aim being gay though, and it stayed with Halo 3.

yeah but in h1 you also had health. You still had your shield plus health. I liked the 3 shot kills. Not like with the br in h2 where its a 3 shot burst that takes forever to get through plus their shield is a lot more powerful than the original. So basically you can start shooting someone in the head and it takes 4 shots in the head with a br to kill someone. one burst shot takes forever to get out of the gun let alone four of the burst shots. They could run right when they get hit and regen all health back. I am not real fond of that. When you get shot, you die. Thats why I think I like cod2 and cs so much. You lay 2-3 well placed shots into them they die.

but its only my opinion and people like different things so its whatever.

just had my best round..42-1 got the 30 kills without dying award too :)
