TFD Login Screen Blank
 

Hey guys I'm lookin for some help in getting onto Novaworld. This problem first occured before I got TFD and I was playing LW so it may have something to do with my computer. I have tried downloading a new Startup.htm, I have reinstalled many time, I have installed with and without the No CD Patch, and I have searched these forums for a problem like mine but couldn't find it. So here is what the actual problem is...

1. I open up TFD and I click "Play on NovaWorld",
2. Then it says Connecting to NovaWorld
3. Next it brings up a screen that is blank, brown and at the top it says NW= Delta Force Task Force Dagger
4. Then the thing at the top changes to say NovaWorld Login.

And thats as far as it goes... the screen where the text boxes should be to login is completely blank and brown... It shows the border stuff and the "NovaWorld Login" at the top but there is no way to login. I have been getting by using IP4TFD but I'm wanting to get back into some NovaWorld games. The two solutions I've seen are the Ibrowse.dll and the Iswap.bat. I don't know what either of these programs do so I have been hesitant to try them. if anyone has experienced this problem or knows how to fix it please please let me know.

how to fix it up
 

go into you game folder look up "cache" folder delete every thing in it then startup you game this should fix it right up happen to me Novalogic told me to do it.

the game will load up new one that are good to use.
don't delete the folder only items inside it i mean every thing in it ok

Hey Chief I tried that and no such luck. I deleted the items in the cache and then unzipped the new startup file that you provided but it didn't work. I still get the banner with NovaWorld Login at the top and the brown blank screen. Could it possibly the NoCdPatch that's doing this. Maybe if I uninstalled then Updated back to .09 and then if it still isn't working try the steps above again? What do you think?

no the no-cd patch only stop you from getting in the server's sample DF:LW-Playoffs it stop it from loading up the info and you get stats are disable but as i know for now that only happen in DF:TFD use to do it to DF:LW.

redo the update in the game could be something got mix-up dose happen even to me 3x a year

do you have Fav-DF instill? it only work in Public/Password area's.
there is a way to disable it sorry i don't use it.

what DF-Vr you have?

Last thing you do is unstill it then go to the folder DF:LW delete the folder try to save .bms/pl_sav/.mis
if you added in explw save the terrain.pff file and skin save it too dflw.pff too
when you done.

1.) save from it what you need maps/mis/terrain.pff what ever you like to keep.
2.) unstill it then look for the DF:LW or the DF:TFD .
3.) delete the game folder main folder delete it that has the game name on it.(there maybe something not right in it)
4.) ok after you delete the DFLW or DFTFD folder restill it back in.
5.) now after its finsh instilling,update it to the newest Vr online.
6.) put the item's back in you like to keep your finsh.

tip for skin's
if you using skin in it make a folder in it 2 of them
1.) "without skin" in here the without you put the normal dflw.pff in it
2.) "with skin" dflw.pff if it has skin put it in the one says with skin.
3.) so you going to play with skin change up or other way around too with out skin (Novaworld server are skin-disable)use normal.
