How to get LAN(local area network) for DFX2
 

Hey im tired using the multiplayer button beacase it using novaworld,how to get the lan

You can use the JO V1.7.5.7 exe and extract menus from JO. That's what I did and I have a LAN patch for DFX2 I play it in tunngle..

I do hope pirates are still unsupported here? ..obvious really!

will you would have to JO install to get them item or off the disc i would think mermite

so one has to own both DFX2 and JO get it to work

Don't see any indications of any talk about pirated software or any links to such either, am I blind?

You have to activate online...(no regkey on install for DFX2 and others now)...and log on to to the Nova Server...(even for JO or DFX)...to access the LAN and as far as I know...(according to the EULA and specifically Terms and Conditions of Use)...this is the only legal way of doing it.

If Sil. was blind he would have trouble working his digger, he would not SEE the power lines, and Sil. would be in trouble, LOOK for the lines Sil.

No different here, is obvious, that when you get your Nova game disc, that you registrar on Nova world, and read the manuals on the disc.

That said .. when the Med Club was running a download was the LAN crack (from JO) that got us in serious trouble with Nova, as they proved to us all 28.563 downloads were non Nova people, not one of those was a registered on novaworld, thats why today JO still remains the Pirate favourite.

The Pirate Bay is from Sweden isn't, no I didn't think so

.reg files with CDIID Keys from old game disks it seems would still work. Therefore the smart move by NovaLogic of enabling the system they now have in place.

I think it is a superior system (though fragile for end-users if something happens to the activation and online support from the vendor). This is how it is these days.

Other methods require Disk Protection Software, Game Management Clients, multiple password protected logging to online web sites, portals and resources etc...

The highlighted text above denote highly undesirable methods. I'm sure we could all agree to that and that you could "call a few to mind" without trying at present.

ok,so you mean,because when i rgister to novaworld,i have putted my real name at the first name and the last name section,but it says invalid.would i have to do a ****ing thing

all lower case litter/ numbers and no cap sample; 46sd546as54dw66a (not a real key-code) type in as that and no " - " or space in it ether when you register it online!

It's not obvious unless you happen to have installed JO and gone through that process, the last game I played was BHD and every game I have played since that I can remember that let you play LAN did so without requiering an internet connection so natrually I didn't see the connection, but do now so thank you and stomp explaining it for me.

You have an email with all the data?, you must CREATE your nova account and nhq account with those details, or when you install the game you must register it for the details of login, until you do that it will not work.

The NovaHQ and novaworld login codes are usually different, how did you get here? go to novaworld2 and create an account and try those details in the game screen

seek lost password option they send a link to your e-mail you use to join the site with! to reset password link, its maybe a glitch on their end

mmmmm, you really need to contact Nova, are you on the NovaWorld2 forum? "If you are a member of NovaWorld2 use that code for the game. It's usually the same as game login". Here is a modified copy of the email instructions I received when I first joined up and login for the game:

Try this...

Go to Novalogic http://www.novalogic.com/ and select "Go Shop Now".

Then select any game, then press "Add To Cart".

At next screen press "Proceed To Secure Checkout".

Once there look carefully and you will see [Lost Your
Password] click that link.

A panel will appear saying:

"Please enter your email to get your lost password:"

This is to retrieve you login details by entering your email address. It should have your user name details as well.
