USB mouse is double clicking instead of single.

It's a Logitech M90 USB optical mouse, which is creating this problem. It occurs everywhere, whether it is gaming or simple computer tasks. I even opened the case, and tried to blow away any dirt, but still no luck.

BLACK HAWK: My logitech trackball mouse was doing the same thing. I opened up the case and where the micro switches are i sprayed them with alcohol (alcohol is non-conductive) then i took my finger and clicked the switched about 10 or 15 times and then sprayed them again. now it works fine. the switch contacts build up a contact arcing residue, then you get what is known as the bounce effect. good luck

You have "use double click on single click" set in windows control panel mouse settings.

Go to: Control Panel - Devices - Mouse - Pointer Settings and un-tick it.
