i have a dilema, i got an old comp from a friend, and i was wondering what kind of video card i should get, none of these 256MB, but something nice and not to pricey

what's "not pricey"?
give us a ballpark figure to work to

yea im going to go with the 9800, cuz im finaly beafing up my other computer

i'd recommend you go for the 9800, it's not that expensive anymore, but still a very good card

or maybe a 9500 and patch it to a 9700 ;)

Yes 9800 pro or if you want to go cheaper get a Geforce 5200 Ultra

I had a nvidia 400 mx or something like that can't remember exactly but I got a 5200 ultra and I wouldn't recomend it.
