Well i decided to go with the new AM2 after i just sold the X2 4800+ pc for 2,000$ USD

Nope i work for a Mine during the summers and get about 2300$ USD a week and during wthe winters i work for my collge (Michigan State University)

WHats wrong with the nvidia??

Plus i have not ordered it yet just looking for comments.

Nothing 'wrong' with nvidia I just perfer ATi.

Up Near Ishpeming Michigan (Tilden Mine) only about an hour drive away for me not bad since some people go to it form escanaba.

I prefer ATI but i like the concept of quad SLI.

bloody hell, thats alot of money for a weeks work
i'm the opposite of both of you, i prefer nVidia because all I've had is ATI cards, this 6600GT is much better than my previous ATI's :)

nice system, ill have to make a thread for my new one im building at the moment, mines dual-cpu dual-core Opteron, does anyone know where i can sell computer parts and recieve a reasonable amount, lol I dont get paid as much as you a week, but i get about 350-400 in two weeks for just cleaning dishes or making taco's at a Mexican restraunt for 4-5 days a week for a couple hours, $9 dollars an hour :-D then im starting my new job at a Landscaping place that will pay me 12-15 an hour
