Higher resolution?
 

Hi all.

Is it possible to get the resolution higher on DF Xtreme, than the dropdown window in the game option. The max resolution in game is 1600x1200, I would like to have it 1920x1200 if possible?

I have no idea if this is posted in the right thread, if not sorry about that.

not a 100% on this but think you can edited the config file using notepad

backup the file "Game.cfg" first before making any changes to it

hw3d_res640x480 = 1
hw3d_res800x600 = 1
hw3d_res1024x768 = 1
hw3d_res1280x720 = 1
hw3d_res1280x768 = 1
hw3d_res1280x960 = 1
hw3d_res1280x1024 = 1
hw3d_res1600x1200 = 1

hw3d_res2048x1536 = 1
game_res = 10

the line {game_res} you like it to use above change this a must do, count down all the lines then set the number to that line No#! so it will know what line to use in this case it 10
"game_res = 10" (Use} "game_res = ??""

0= disable
1= enable
highlited add-line

uptop click-on "file" save as...

now get out of that and try the game.

don't know if this will work it make need a file hw3d file or the HW stands for "Hardware 3d"

there a 97% chance this will work, all so keep inmind your monitor has to be able to disaplay it at that setting if not you get a blank screen (black) wait 5min you be back ether a error or desktop don't shout down the system let it hang a bet. it should reset automatic
