DFX2 Med 2.60 "buggy"
 

On a number of times I've gone to save my work,
File/Save and Export, and the Med 2.60 fails to do so, mostly after I've just
inserted something, but save as a .mis does work.
So once you have saved the .mis, close the Med, and reopen the .mis and then Save and Export as a .bms, a hell of a workaround!!!!!!

I've had the same hassle years ago perhaps it was DFLW, I couldn't see the fault then or now, am I missing something? do others endure this?




I do however have DF2 med 1.42, DFX med 2.59, JOE med 2.59 and now the DFX2 med 2.60 installed and am wondering if their is a conflict

I've never had the prob. I'm using the MED version that came with the game.

besides..... what you need a MED for? you never make maps? :D :D :D

:rofl: I wondered who'd be the first to get that one in. How is it for item counts though? Don't have the game yet (not out in Europe till August) Oh, and with regards to what Mermite said, that has happened to me with other Meds but I can't remember which one. It could have been Land Warrior when I think about it. Probably more likey some plugin for Windows or something really trivial. I also had a similar problem with the Shock and Awe mod when I first downloaded it and then, for no reason I can think of, after a week or so the Med started working OK. I think the Delta Force fairy must have come while I was sleeping and sorted it out.
