hi all DF 1 player nice to see you here guys
guys i play DF1 since Demo till now i have my own server and squads we host server every day....YES every day but there is one Big Problem some guys INTER the server and the start bad word to all player wen i ban them the still on the server and the told me u cant punt or ban me - how can that ??????? - why i cant ban them ????? - is there any software help me ?????????? we never let DF1 Die NOOOOOOOOO NEVER EVER cuz we are feeeeelllllling great wen we play DF1 HELP USE GUYS PLZZZZZZZZZ Dont tell me Use Anti CHet ..the dont work at allll thanks alot have nice time DF1 Lover |
Hi and welcome to Nvq...people enter the server start trash talking and you cant punt/ban them? Does it give you an error or is this what the player says or do they just re-enter again.

he can be banned / punted.
If he says its not possible hes a blatent lyer. what commands are you giving to the game? Explain that, and without all the please, capitols and other nonsense typing that seems to be normal these days. |

does the player do any name change? like slight differences?

This is realy sad news for all DF1 Player cuz we host every day and if he inter the server still talk bad to all player then most server be closed .. i never ever ban any player ....i ban player who dont have respct |

Anti ban or punt doesn't exisit to my knowledge. command line I believe is ~ban#2 right?

And if that aint working try ~ ban 2 ( so press tilde, then type "ban 2" without the ") And a anti ban does not exist for my knowledge, because they have to hac the server to remove there ip from the list. |

whats server IP? If i find DF1 ill install it and you may try it on me, the punt and ban thing.
Edit just found my CD, just PM me with the server details and ill get in there sometime. Also tell me a time on which the server is up, preferrably in GMT. |

Holy crap...
This is how it works Falcon...first there isnt anyway for him to block your actions...he would have to hack server and remove his IP like katana says. Using that garbage might be your problem...just use what NL intended for the game. |

Falcon let your webadmin please use the regular link to NHQ, www.novahq.net, and not direct it to the DF1 forum. Otherwise people forget we have much more to offer here.

Guys that you can't ban or punt are hackers - no way to get rid of them. I have been on the phone with Nova Tech's about these problems - updates use to help with people like that - Nova has not put out an update for DF1 in a very long time, and it doesn't look like they're going make one soon.
One of the best ways to keep these a**wipes out of your game room is to host "Password" games. I'm trying to work with some teams about a DF1 Password Server, ~FOX~ has another server we could put up. But the only way it's going to work is with trusted teams, df1 players or allies. Cheaters & Hackers can not get into a Password Game, unless they have the password. |

i wanna thank every one who reply on this topic and i hope ...who have more info ...post message here i still looking for more info i send email to novalogic and i got reply 1 deyas ago it say sense we have public game we can do nothing about that and NOVA Phone NO LOL so this is means NO Hope no one can do any thing..that is it !! any way is there any goos software to BLOCK Player IP cuz wen i have LOCK and STOP Fairewall if is on the player cant joing the game i most shutdown befor hosting..that will be good if i can block IP then mybe cant enter server any more. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

I'm no software engineer, but there must be some way to ban them from your game room. Let's all hope! |
you could use a firewall like zone labs or another program used to track all incoming connections to your computer then ban that IP from your server through a firewall

the problem if i use the firewall i have black scrren nothing more so befor i host i trun firewall off otherways not working i had zone alarm bro ..but now not any more it is good to find out ...wht is the problem so new reaply welcome lol |
