Just downloaded the latest drivers for my Nvidia 9600. Saw that they added sterioptic 3D drivers to the software. Haven't tried it yet.

Does anybody here use it? And how does those charged 3d glasses work? Does the red and blue glasses work better than the charged 3D glasses?

I checked out the charged 3D glasses and MAN they are expensive !!

Lol, I thought about going to the theater and watching a 3D movie just so I can "borrow" the glasses from them !

It's a lot of eye candy. I really wish it wasn't $200 for the whole kit not including a compatible display but I still say it breaks even for the fun you get out of it. If you have other plans for your spare cash laying around I couldn't say don't get it, you know what I mean?

Current '3D' is wank, it's not even real 3D so how they can call it that, I don't know.

im only on 1440x900 at the moment :( need a bigger monitor *-)

Well I don't know how it can't be considered 3D. Objects have distance to them. Put an eye patch on and try going one day with only one eye open. You'll see what I mean when you take the eye patch off.

man i love them huge monitor (HD-TV with HD-plugs in's) like crazy
i mean everything like wicket as hell

basic one get a DVI adapter to HDMi cable it sweet
then get a HDMi cable to connect to the Video card adapter (DVI to HDMi) then run it to the HD-Tv set man it so sweet

*some time you need to connect your audio to a stereo system! so you hear it the right way not from the short speaker near the PC

VGA to HDMi does not do the job at all! so don't try it! (VGA is low end old school 90s)

I have a HDMI-HDMI cable but yes it is awsome! :)

Its 3D imitation. You're still viewing it on a 2D screen so it will never be '3D', Just the 2D shows what appears to be a third dimension.

I also read somewhere that according to an eye health association study, 12% of people can't see the 3D effect. Thats leaving a large portion of people in the dark..

Don't really want to get into a debate/argument about 3D ;P but it's kind of annoying how everyone is jumping on the band wagon of a technology that isn't even nice to watch half of the time.
