NovaWorld enforces login on BHD
 

NovaWorld enforces logins on BHD now. Go to your BHD directory and open up the STARTUP .htm file and you'll see what I mean.

Thanks to Rogue for pointing this out.

I also tried my bypass patch for BHD I made quite some time ago (it takes you directly to the list without having to hit the login page), and nope that doesn't work as well.

Not sure if they're gonna do this to LW and TFD too, as well.

I reckon by doing this, it's a whole lot less cheaters.

that all so means maybe the no-cd patch may not work ether, but then again it may work if users go to public area and not NW-Stats servers after they log-in

Some people claim that they run the No-CD patch on NW servers and it actually works.

In fact, I think if you play in NW servers under the No-CD patch under a name like "dfbhd_patch.exe" you might not get punted, because it's under a totally different name. Not too sure about this though.

Just hit the update button in pinger - pinger is at version 5.2 now I think, at least there was an update for me.

Then pinger will work (at least for me, until I made those changes pinger just complained about not being able to get the server list).


I would try updating pinger first - they have enabled express login now.

point to note that clicking public games in pinger still doesnt work, you have to actually use the pinger quick servers

Hey guys, looks like this information doesnt work anymore. Pinger wont allow you to add servers to your list other than the ones you already have. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this fixed?

Well if you would have checked the support site for BHD Pinger you would have noticed everyone is expierencing this problem and that we have contacted the guy who has coder Pinger, Dstructr, to check it out.

Hey Sharp, this doesnt work. When you try to add servers to Pinger, you get an error message "No response from Nova." I read that the servers are now hosted by Freak Networks. Dont know the truth behind that but I did read that its because of the new game. Any other ideas or suggestions on how to get pinger to work would be helpful. At the moment those links dont. Thanks for the help though.

you are using BHD: Team Sabre right?

and also is your pinger set to play BHDTS not just BHD?

There's a new version of Pinger on nova-inside.com.

the version on nova-inside.com was released on the 26th, before the latest changes, at least if your speaking of 5.2.

Hey Sharp I have updated my pinger, I am using BHD TS and I have everything set as to the way everyone else would be. Everytime I try to add a server I get no response from Nova as an error message.

hmm I am not sure about it, can anyone else help him out here because I can't think of any other ways to fix his problem?

are you saying it still works for you?

It is my understanding that novalogic made an other change and pinger doesn't work any more.


Some one posted recently that the needed info isn't being returned, and the programer of pinger isn't going to fix pinger until some one tells him how to get that info.

I have gone over my pinger options 6+ times, letter by letter and it doesn't work for me.

All I can do is just manually add servers to my favorites list.

Hey guys I heard that a friend of mine has been hounding Nova and they said that it would be fixed by next week. Lets hope they stick to their problem and fix it this time. Thats the latest I got so far.

go under options --> Stat Games

put in your username and password and have this as the:
