Pff files
 

why is it that when I open the all the PFF game files in DFX2 is shows all the different files, but when i do the same for DFX i only get a blank screen?

Exactly what you were doing when it happened

OS: windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
SECURITY SETTING: none
TOOL USED: PFFEditor (from this site)
GAME LOCATION: 2 Tb hard drive (delta force games has it's own hdd)
I can open any other delta force ie: bhd, delta force 1 & 2 DFX2 but can't open DFX?
in delta force folder (dfx folder). I hade just opened DFX2 with the pff editor, closed DFX2. opened DFX but had only empty program.

computer: alienware i7 8 core, 6-2Tb hdd's I 320Gb hdd (boot drive)
for whatever reason I could NEVER open any pff files in DFX.

Try using another PFF editor. There are different versions of PFF files and the one you're using may not support the DFX2 one. Try this one: https://novahq.net/files.php?ID=536

DFX2 opens ok. The one that I can't get to open is DFX.
