Definitely looks promising. And the story sounds a lot more in-depth this time. :)

I don't mean to be a total nit-picking naysayer (I enjoyed crysis 1 so much keep this in mind) but after seeing the screenshots I'm afraid that crysis 2 might fall short of expectations just because it's in the grid-like city of new york. You know of room-to-room shooters where rooms aren't that much different, but here it really won't be much different. It'll just be a street-to-street shooter with almost no real variation from what I see. I hope I turn out wrong on this, I'd love to see this blow everything else out of the water.

Well Crytek said that developing this game for consoles somehow made them "narrow" the experience more or something (a bit more linearity, maybe?). Can't remember exactly.

since when did they start using blackhawks again? what happened to the jet based VTOL's? that was tl:dr but did anyone catch why?
