ps3 or xbox360?

which 1 is better? i cant decide

Erik 10-12-2005 09:06 PM

I'll be getting the PS3 when it comes out. I like them better than anything billy makes.

Sal UK 10-12-2005 09:18 PM

From the videos I have seen of both and looking at the Specs, I would say the PS3 is better. The main downfall for PS3 is it comes out 6months to a year after the XBox 360.

Trojan 10-12-2005 10:05 PM

PS3, buy it or I'll kick your a$$! hehehe :gj:

Hellfighter 10-12-2005 10:20 PM

PS3 it has more games for it then Xbox would have. you can select more to play it with.

Dr. Bullet 10-13-2005 02:44 AM

The only thing the Xbox will have is Halo...go PS3.

BADDOG 10-13-2005 06:15 AM

thats a Microsoft they limited the game type to be use. ooh heard it before from them we be coming out with Halo 2 soon then before it do hit the street it be only for Xbox. a lot of us was in (windows/mac) hoping it be a Cdrom Version for the Windows System but that drop like a bomb.

Microsoft can die when it come to games. Halo 2 i don't care if it not a Cdrom it dead.

on the Other hand Sony PS2 & PS3 they have a whole line up when it come to games Cd's to be play, besides playing DVD on their system to watch movies and do other things with it. music Cd i don't know maybe too if it can play DVD i can't see why not a Music Cd's

sad thing about Halo 2 is they had a golden egg and they **** it out by limiting it to only X-Box were they could have made more money and sold more Cd's world wide for:
Windows>$$$$$$$$
Mac>$$$$$$$$$$$$
PS2>$$$$$$$$$$$$
other system and console type games>$$$$$$$$$

Microsoft marketing dept must really suck when it come to think of making money with a big hit. thats money lost they could have made billion of USD-Dollars more in come by making it so much bigger for the fans. will i think Bill gates must be really like to lose more money then making it.

-Tigger- 10-13-2005 11:46 AM

im a fan of the Xbox, i had a PS2 and wasnt impressed at all with it, the Xbox is much faster (current one) compared to the PS2.

i havnt read up on the PS3. only the Xbox but this debate is abit like the AMD v Intel.. lol

i wont be spending £300 for one though ;), wait a year and get it for less than £200..

also anyone who is getting one for some1 or themselves for Xmas, Microsoft is having supply problems so dont promise the kids anything .. lol

Terry 10-13-2005 12:02 PM

would love to reserve meself one ready for the 1st or 2nd batch they bring out, but xmas is the priority so i guess ill have to wait till afterwards lol

... i aint gonna go for any of them, but I would go for the xbox 360 ... as soon as we get halo 3 I'll get it, then sell it. Kinda gone off gaming, but i think this thread is going to be a big debate in which is the best ... dont matter really i suppose, just like the chose between a blue ipod ... or a green? hmmm

Jeff 10-13-2005 02:12 PM

You have to remember you're looking at those pics on a computer, the quality will downgrade once you get it on your TV unless you have an expensive plasma/HD TV.

PS3!

Hellfighter 10-13-2005 02:15 PM

man PS3 stats look way better more thing you can do with it besides it way better setup then X-Box is.

thanks Trojan
only wish i had the money to buy get PS3.

man X-box is so out dated

VooDoo- 10-13-2005 03:07 PM

but i know some rich biatch named spazz is gona get both ...

Terry 10-13-2005 05:40 PM

HEY! ill have both some day ;) and i aint rich lol... just have low priorities hehe

Grenademan 10-13-2005 11:02 PM

XBoxes are for nerds. PS2/PS3s are for blokes. Can spend days on end drinking beer with your mates while playing the best games you have. Seven players I heard? Why seven anyway? How's the screen gonna look? What if you have a teeny tiny TV set? That's the only thing that bothers me about the PS3. Other than that, A WORK OF ART! Ps2/PS3 ALL THE WAY!!!

BADDOG 10-15-2005 06:32 AM

I've been told by my contact in our local GAME store that the X-Box 360 may well be in short supply on it's release date of December here in the U.K. and that GAME have stopped taking deposits as a result.

Regards
