is there any way to change a NPZ file to a BMS file without using the Nile pgm?

Do you mean Nile to Mis?

Try this - You will have to re-save NPZ as NPJ
DFX / Joint Operations NPJ-2-MIS Converter

if you need the Binary - Open the recompiled MIS in the correct MEd.

The MEd you use will need the same objects as the mission or you'll have to delete them or manually replace them with substitutes, then you can export the mission as a playable BMS.

thanks Stompem will give it a try. So to change NPZ to NPJ I would need a NILE editor correct?

Yes you can open and save NPZ as NPJ with NILE 1.6 or 1.8 but maybe the tool will convert it for you?

I use the MEd for Delta Force and Joint Ops so I've never used the NILE conversion tool myself.

I placed the NPZ in the converter and it pops up "NOT NPJ file". I guess I'll dig through all my DELTA FORCE DISK and try to find the NILE pgm. thanks for your help. :)

Open the NPZ in NILE and save as NPJ

As far as I know the NILE is not on disk.
