installing brushes ect
for some reason when i paste the brushes into the folder (the correct one that it tells me to..) when i start PS up it doesnt pick them up and the only way to use them is to go to "presents manager" and then do them, 1 by 1, everyone else is able to get theres to work just by copying and pasting,
any ideas? BB. |
:O , ive always done it through the preset manager way, didnt think it worked the other way...if it does, that saves a lot of time
|
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Brushes
works every time for me |
doesn't for me :(
|
weird problem, PS scans that folder when it loads iirc :/
|
yeah i see it scanning, but doesnt pick them up

Are you sure your downloading Brushes compatible with your version of photoshop?
if the brushes are made from previous versions they should work, But if brushes were made in CS or CS2 they will only work with them versions. CS,CS2 are backward compatible, But if your using 7 or an earlier version they aint future compatible, So ones made with CS and CS2 should not work. Hope that makes sense.. |
im using CS2, the brushes work but they have to be added manually, even though the are copied into the right foler
