Answer:
The crosshair spread gives you an indication of how accurate your shots will be under current conditions. Things like movement and stance will affect the size of this spread. If you desire, you can turn off the visual spread of the crosshairs in the options menu. Your accuracy will change even if your crosshair doesn’t show it.
