gosh, clock reseting back to jan 1, of 2000 preventing people from accessing PSN. I wonder how theyre gonna get out of this one. |
Yes rather crazy they say it should be fixed within 24 hours, probably waiting until after midnight to see if it fixes itsself.
I havent attempted turning mine on today, Dont want to lose the 4 endings I have done on Heavy Rain..lol I want to do them all before I trade it in for BFBC2... P.S Love that drawing...lol |
I knew they would sit on thier ass and wait for midnight to pass....lol
"The 8001050F error that had glitched PlayStation 3 consoles on March 1 has resolved itself as midnight passed. Due to a clock functionality error related to a leap year miscalculation, the console reset the date to January 1, 2000, blocking access to games with Trophies and PSN downloads. After Sony announced that a solution would present itself within 24 hours, users are now reporting that their consoles returned to function as midnight passed within the GMT timezone. While games and PSN-related content have returned, Trophies that were not synced to the servers before the glitch have been lost. Sony are expected to issue a firmware update to ensure that the error won't occur in future. " |
Wow epic fail on Sony's part.
