I thoroughly enjoy Battlefield 3

So, what impresses you the most. (I am referring to the Multiplayer aspect of the game)
I am not keen on all the colored icons getting in the way. (normal) mode

Get the way single player has to be launched from a browser?!?!?!:kekekegay:dontknow::disappoint:

Single Player is scripted to hell

Me too, But I am playing on PS3 dont really use my PC for games these days just 3D Graphics.

I am tempted to take that route. Just bought a GTX 460SE last year and it is supposedly barely in their acceptable range. I cost me almost $200. I could buy an Xbox for that much and not have to upgrade it for years.

Oh boy, a gtx 460 is has more power to it than an xbox 360 can ever muster. I have a second PC I'm trying to sell, it has a 460 in it and it ran BF3 on medium settings around 45 fps on small servers, 30 on big servers. Meanwhile both consoles are considered to be the lowest possible settings. You're good with it, Ath. This whole thing about "ZOMG GOTSA UPGRaDE ERRY SIX MONTHS PC IS CRAP" concerning PC gaming is a lie, If your PC is better than a console last month, it'll still be better than a console in 12 months.

All those comercials on the TV make it look so great !

I really hoped that they've improved the vehicle/aircraft aspect ....

And I so wanted to spend big bucks on this game ...

Not necessarily lame just full of initial update this download that with difficulties at every turn for me here in Australia, just one thing after another, Single Player Scripted action (you push a button when prompted ), storyline boredom supremo and multiplayer game-play has too many requisites as in healing (Medic) icons every where wait for server number to reach a preset level, heaps of lag on full servers regardless of ping and should have been another 6mths to release to polish it off. Hows this! One player has over 100,398,003,687 points in 3 days!!!! No cheats? The nearest other players are is 10 times less than that score and that still seems preposterous and some had tens of thousands of kills in 3 days also...go figure. Load times are lame. Creates a new firewall rule every logon to the game interface which is web based only, no net no game.

Hate to say it with that review Stomp ... but I think I'll save my money and pass on BF3.

And to think they spent all that money on those great BF3 commercials !

It is a new concept...a non the less evolution in gaming.

In my opinion the concept and application of the (Novalogic Delta Force) series, reigns supreme.

Yes, play it. It is awesome so hold your breathe and go in, but it's not for those who are challenged.

Sounds like the Battlefield2 game. I got the Battlefield2 Complete Collection.
It launchs the Single Player from a game browser like its simulating a multiplayer game (computer simulated teammates and opposing teams).

The gameplay was ok, but I hated the vehicle/aircraft control.

If there was no great changes between BF2 & BF3 then I just have to pass on it.

BF3 .... No offline accounts with this one.
The latest method is different.

I have to admit that after getting through the initial stuff I was irritated about, I eventually made a breakthrough in the Campaign mode (Single Player).
This thread started on a controversial note on my behalf...
Non the less, I am now satisfied with at least one aspect of the game and so now I am impressed once again...:clap2:
