Although it is a great idea to be indexing planets, especially ones that can harbor life. I believe we should focus on our solar system first. There are some promising moons around Saturn and Jupiter, which in turn is not out of reach for human life at this time.

Agreed. Small steps first before we plunge into the eternal void of space.

when they informed us of this new planet i liked the "extra" info .. "by 2020 we will have in place a telescope that will be able to tell if life exists on planets that far away"

wtf o_O

some claims remind me of the 60's ... :( according to their beliefs we should now be sending men to a mars space station :(

Politics has gotten in the way of science in this world. People don't realize that science has always come at a cost and it will, that is the nature of the unknown.

We should already have a station on the moon, NASA can't even go back for a landing for like 6 more years. Which is bs considering they landed how many times before?

Good point. Those fat-headed politicians need to stop arguing and starting wars, and start expanding out into space. Or we'll all buy it on this rock.
