Kids your school system will be spying on your Computer System

there no more peace of mind when it come to kids interaction with other on the internet even if they are blowing off steam doing so.

will lets face it to start with Illinois is not a great place to start with! its easyer for them to watch over the kids in their school system vs New York City Ny.

anyways to all the kids in school will be watching you and if you fool around with them notepad/laptop be ready to buy it at full price even if its a use item. watch what you post on the internet or email to others. they may know of it as will.

AURORA, Illinois (AP) -- A suburban Chicago teenager is facing felony harassment charges for threatening the life of a school official on MySpace.com, police say.

The 14-year-old allegedly posted the threat on the social-networking Internet site at the beginning of the school year, but it wasn't discovered by school officials until Monday, said Dan Ferrelli, spokesman for the Aurora Police Department.

The teen was charged with felony harassment through electronic communications, referred to the juvenile court system and released into his parents' custody, Ferrelli said. The school district is also investigating.

"It's pretty new to us," said Todd Colvin, assistant superintendent of Oswego Unit School District 308. "It's something schools are all going to have to be dealing with."

Classes at the teen's school, Bednarcik Junior High School in Oswego, ended Monday.

Last month, another suburban Chicago school district decided students would be held accountable for what they post on Internet blogs and social-networking sites.

Starting next year, all students in extracurricular activities in Community High School District 128, which includes Libertyville and Vernon Hills high schools, must sign an agreement that evidence of "illegal or inappropriate" behavior posted on the Internet could be grounds for disciplinary action.

If its posted during school on school property and on a school computer, then no its not. If your stupid enough to threaten a school official while your at school on a website, you deserve to be charged. The kid was 14, which is old enough to know that there are monitors that keep a close eye on school networks all over the country. The people who monitor the school computer networks can retrieve any email, website address and documents/files opened or sent on the computer. Hes a retarded kid and deserved to be charged with it.

lol I am not surprised, I got court tommorow for a class-B felony of felony vandalism, more in depth about the charge, more than a 1000 dollars of malicous damage to a National/State/Local property of more than 1000 dollars, i'm winning so im not complaining, they got no evidence of me doing it, and they shouldnt because I dropped it, the cheap things naturally crack on all corners from placing it on a table, usual use... if you drop it when your going to put it into your locker, and it drops three feet, what do they expect, but no, they charged me, its so stupid, and a waste of time, my lawyer fee's cost more than like two or three laptops. Not to mention the fact I am taking the school system back to court after I get out of it tommorow, don't say typical American to that statement, they broke two federal level laws.

back to the original post, three students this year at my school have been arrested for child pornography, I have been offered porn about two or three times myself, and I have been asked once to get child pornography for a kid.... not to also include the two teachers fired and arrested for child porn, and the one for distributing it...

lol people here sell porn like drugs in school, one video is like 10-15 bucks, its so wierd, about the amount kids pay for a dime bag of weed, my school system is f'ed up lol...

Hellfighter 06-07-2006 10:23 PM

will they should go back using books and its in the long run is cheaper and safer on them and the kids.

tell the truth its all crap them given out laptop to the kids to use at home or the class room. it will get broken and abuse like crazy! we are talking about yound kids not a adult at a work place.

its all about money and not teaching at all. spend and spend and some times kickbacks

Rampage. 06-08-2006 06:52 AM

lol they spent 27 million dollars on the dell laptop program, now if you ask a teacher why didnt we just get a new book, because our books are from like 1992, and well out dated, she will go the school system doesnt have enough money, hmm I wonder why...

man thats real sad, people pay taxes for the school system and what they do go a chaper way about it.

i see what you mean they can update a laptop easyer and no waste of paper/wood to use for them, but i still think books are way better.

SilentTrigger 06-08-2006 10:47 AM

We had books from the 60ies heh, but they ware kind of pointless so no one bothered renewing them. But I agree to that student being punished! That would be classes as "olaga hot" wchich could mean prison. Not for a 14 year old though, would probebly be juvenil prison.

you know this means half all the kids be sent to jail for laptop give to kids to play with? don't know but some one is racking the money in on this one

as a leaning tool as will use to connect to the internet uncontrolled.

if the case (housing) for the Laptop break you are buying it there no if an butt about it.

lawer be racking in money for this to fight there no end to it.

i think it really a joke let a 14yrs carrior around a 1.200.00 laptop out in the open and anyone can walk up to the kids and take it, the child family end up paying for it.

SilentTrigger 06-12-2006 05:30 AM

lmao you would be surprised by the amount of dells stolen off kids, people my age will walk into a bad part around here, and get theirs stolen, hate to sound racist, im not trying to come off that way, its mostly the Hispanics stealing them, since we have a large immigration of them, then the kids will be charged with grand larceny, or being associated with it getting stolen, the county thinks they are working together to sell them or something, when they are actually getting stolen.

Hellfighter 06-13-2006 08:05 AM

Rampage.

i have to agreed with what you say there

it be so easy and the kids family will have to pay for it in the end.

send your kids to school wait till they give them the laptops to use. get a shock a notice you will have to buy it and pay a court fine for your kids to have it. if it break you buying it, if it get stolen you have to replace it besides court fine (fee).

still it not like the old days were the school system was easy on the kids and family, today seem they love to put it to them totally $$$$$. i don't know if i was a family man i think i school my kids from the family home. were everything stay in the house

Lucky 06-13-2006 10:37 AM
