Odd question, IDK if this is the right section for it or not but Imma guess it is. Is anyone else having trouble getting onto DFBarracks.com ? Is the site down? Anyone have any info about it?

If it helps, couldn't you delete all the cookies from your web browser that pertain to that site?

Wow I haven't been to that site since they shut down there sig section years ago.
Sigs were very important then.

i'm having the same problem here, sometimes i'm able to enter the site and then not. I have no idea what the problem is but it started when i began to upload maps there so, i left it alone and work here instead, much faster better and reliable website then there!

DFBarracks grew old when Camo retired it. the DCE clan did a lot to revive the site, but after they left it has slowly fallen apart.

It's unfortunate because it's a relic of the DF history.

Man I remember posting maps there when I was 7 and 8 years old LOL And I'm frikin 18 years old!!!! xD I used to play DF2 all the time. Odd thing cause it's still not working for me and it bugs me. Really badly want to go on there again, I'm going to try clearing my cookies n stuff to that site to see if that helps, will post results o-o

Did a few trouble shooting things with Windows 7 using IE and it says---

"The DNS server isn't responding
Your computer is trying to use a DNS server that is incorrect or doesn’t exist."

Anyone happen to know a fix?

Unfortunately neither of them work for me =| And yeah it's basically the same thing I believe. I don't see why all of a sudden it would stop working, a few weeks ago it was working just fine... =\ I wonder if it's my router or something... I've looked around for answers but I'm not finding much on it =|


Did they just recently within a few weeks switch the servers over?

can you ping the server ip address? 69.28.250.201
if you can it could be a dns problem, change your DNS server manually, i use the opendns ones

i didn't like that my isp redirected the failed links to itself heh, now it doesn't :)

If it was going to be hosted by anyone it would be Eagle_Eye and he would host it from the same host as DF Reload. last I heard EE got full access to the site after the last time it got hacked, and then lost FTP and access to the host control panel so he cannot backup the registry anymore.

I dont know if he got full control back and A.Bullet is still not responding.

Sorry for the very very very very late response. I kinda got busy and forgot about the post I had made, anyways I just tried pinging and it goes through fine.

Just recently tried going there again and works fine now??? Wth odd crap. Eh oh well atleast it works again, If it stops working again do expect a new thread posted again. Thanks for all the support and help guys.
