Pinger Problem
 

hey you guys have helped me out alot i sure hope you can help with this to i have changed my port number on my server from 17479 to 17490 cause of some problems and here is the question why does the pinger keeps adding it as 17479 when i have chaged it and offcourse i doesnt work through the ping cause of that , hope for some help from you great guys in here

pinger doesn't know the port number to use, so it assumes the default port.

Unless you tell it which port to use by putting the port number in your server name, or welcome message.


For my servers, I put it on the first line of the server welcome message.

ahh ok great ill will try that yea it have been a nightmare cause people couldnt join through nova and when tried the game wouldnt login and when they came in there were kicked out 99 % of the time and so on maybe you have an idea to that too thats the reason why i tried to change the port to 17490 to see if that could help
