"It will now join a new category of "dwarf planets"."

atleastit hasnt totally gone

Hellfighter 08-24-2006 11:49 AM

will if they can't look at it up close its not a planet right.......

they speak for the whole world "PRAGUE, Czech Republic" what they say its mean it a rule all most follow!

i am to think a dwarf planets is not the same as a big Planet?

a dwarf person is the same as a normal person ok? were we can tell what is what?

a person is a person don't matter if they small or big they are the same. same for planets as will.

they can call it a small planet.

planet listing will always be same. dwarf or not.

maybe the planet Earth need to be change to a dwarf planet as will, i mean look at the other planets Earth Vs Mar? is not the planet Earth not smaller then Mars, by all type of scale as will.

sorry i think it a big joke they could done some real research get thing going right instead wasting time on some bull ruling.

OMG who gave the right to change what is been set from the 1930. it really sucks

IcIshoot 08-24-2006 01:41 PM

ever since 1930 it has been debated as to wether or not pluto should have been called a planet... and from what I have read, a majority of the astronimers agree.

No, a dwarf planet is not a planet. Why they called it that, don't know.

This link ( http://www.iol.co.za/index.php?set_i...6439701936B252 ) explains some what the new definition and why Pluto was disqualified.

prehaps im too cynical, but does it really matter?

Well, I had to cram down facts of Pluto for a certain exam. Now.... it's for nothing.

Hellfighter 08-25-2006 01:17 PM

Will the publisher would love it, school system around world need to get new book’s and programs software to update the stander in these things.

They can't be teaching out dated data! to the public or they look like fools.

money make the world turn around

Chrispy 08-25-2006 06:39 PM

Dang, I was gonna post that. :D

Well Pluto ain't a planet no more because it's just made of ice basically, and there are ''mini planets'' around Pluto as well so if Pluto was a planet the other 20 ''mini planets'' around Pluto will have to be planets. I think it should stay like that, the scientists are right in my opinion. :p

Soooo.... if I "theoretically" burn my science books, would i still have to pay for damage to outdated information?
