I wonder how much this might fetch from a collector and is it a macabre object to want in a collection of any kind?

I'd first get it checked for DNA if it is actually AH's ....

Hellfighter 12-27-2005 07:15 PM

his gun was not the only one made there many of them, a lot of people say they have his gun. why so many of them were made in his life time.

there has to be a record with his gun SN# in it to show proof other wise it fake not his gun at all.

i pay USD-.22285420430 for it.
better do your math first.

i can have a shotgun 10g and sell it saying it was the shotgun the red bran us when he was in the Sky dog fighting others.

how many fool think he care a fool shotgun in his plane, he never did a pistol is what he had. and maybe some hand hold drop bombs to to drop on others below him.

not bitting this one.

The paratrooper later sold the gun to an Army lieutenant who was unaware of the connection to Hitler, Lane said. The soldier settled in Illinois and kept the gun under his bed for years, taking it out only occasionally to hunt. He died more than a decade ago, and his family no longer wants the gun.
Doesn't sound like mint condition. :|

sounds more like hey i have this gun it is what it is, better have been burn by some fire place on it.

its a con job to make up a story to get more money out of it.

doesn't matter, some people would want a gun that was just hitlers, like me, i think it would be awesome... for some reason. lol

well, if ti was up on ebay id be jubious, but i dont believe that CNN did not do some investigation as to its autheticity, they did enough to convince themselves publsh the story anyway....

Dr. Bullet 12-31-2005 12:13 AM

Since when does CNN thoroughly investigate anything?

If it was his, cool, if not, it still looks like a nice gun. I'd get it just for that.

Lakie 12-31-2005 12:55 AM

dont get me wrong, i dont think that CNN is a shining light of independant free unbiased press or anything, and they do skew stories for sure, but they dont tend to post downright fiction.
