My DF2 will not get into the games it can't even it stops when i try to join one is just freezes the whole time
any where i go it freezes can some one help me please

umm...i have no idea what you are saying. nothing makes sense. retype and use periods and commas.

did you update the game at all? and all so it was not made for Windows Xp family you would have to change the setting in shortcut so it will work in Windows Xp and check the firewall to see all option are enable for it to connect to other systems

most of the time the game will lockup do to its not updated and firewall will make it lockup too.

1.) right click-on shortcut up top you see "Compatibility" look on the page see Compatibility-box check it: pick "windows 98 / Windows Me" then click-on "apply" after click-ok get out then try it.

2.) check firewall so all option are enable and steath is unchecked.

3.) double check see if it been updated.

first one didn't work neither did the second one and i d/l the update and put it on there so i dont know what to do now

i try to join one and it freezes
i join one with the server full and it gives me server full
so that means it is trying to join it but it will not work....

all i know is reinstall... Or try to use DF Favs , lookon DF Barracks for that. i dont know if its up here also

already did that and already tried to get in from Df fav :| this sucks

That is part of having a forwarded IP address...it screws stuff up.

Ohh shooooooooooot!

Another thing if you use a network card on your computer....

Think you may need to go into the network card properties and install IPX/SPX.

I am going to try that when I get home...it was doing the same thing to me so I will see if this fixes it.

i'd try uninstalling/reinstallin df2...inever had those probs w/ df2 on xp home. also going thru favs and going to settings/update config sometimes helps.

Found out what it is....at least what it was for me.

Go to Start > Control Panel > See if it says "Switch to classic View" or "Switch to category View." > Click on switch to classic view if it says it. > Double click on Network Connections > Find your ethernet connection an right click on it. > Click on properties. > Highlight TCP/IP and click install > Find protocol > Find IPX/SPX, then click it and then click ok.

It should work now.

i uninstalled it and reinstallled it then did what you told me to the IPX/SPX still nothing


then i waited long enough and it says that direct 3D is not working or something
