have u got a copied version? and havent got the cd? may need a no cd crack.

try the no cd crack anyway.

have u got 2 sets of drivers installed for your grafix card? LW definately doesnt like that.

oh yeah, which screen says "loading" ? never seen it

well, idid try no-cd patch, but i think i made it worse, so i deleted it. dunno about the drivers thing, though i did install DX 8.1, do i have to delete the old DX?? :nerd: :eek2: :confu2:

na, dont need to uninstall old DX.

go to start>
settings>
control panel>
system>
device manager>
display adapters>

this sould shouw ur graphics card

if there is more than1 thing there then that could be causing the problem.

I have no idea whats worng.

Like SB says... where DOES it say loading?????

Also did you make sure when you deleted your NoCD that you reset dflw.exe correctly.

the "Loading" Screen comes when you click your DFLW shortcut icon (well with mine it does).

Run Antivirus software if you have it. This will inoculate files which have been changed since your uninstall and reinstall. Also run scandisk.

Delting your DFLW folder wont completely get rid of all associated files to with DFLW. Goto to "find" type in everying to do with DFLW, every possible name you can imagine...Delete them. But make sure they are safe to delete..

A similar problem happemed to me on another game..Still got ithe problem..The only way to solve that problem is to format the HD whick i dont want to do

You might have to do this..DOH

Speedo_Force 12-27-2001 02:58 PM

DOH forgot one thing i D/L DX 8.1 the other day i was a little impatient to see if DFLW would work and it did phewww.

Thinking of the problem i little better now. I would say D/L 8.1 is the cause of your problem. DX doesn't recognise your graphics-drivers and so on, so on, so on. update them this should solve it.

If you have the most recent drivers then your stuck.

You can't unistall DX as i am aware. So formatting your HD maybe the solution.

The "loading" screen is exactly what it is doing. Getting the necessary files etc ready for use. Getting the vid-card preped for processing graphics.

For some reason DX 8.1 is probably telling some files and your harware (and visa versa) some information which neither has a clue how to understand.

If you can unistall DX do so. Get the previous version you were running.

When the illegal operation windown pops up copy th info put it on the board and let me have a look.
