can i use to record in-game play?

so far i have tried obs and fraps, but neither of them will record anything while in DF2.

nvidia gfx card?
you can record using geforce experience.

Creator captures his DF2 missions, i wonder what he uses? make a comment on one of his maps and he might let you know https://novahq.net/maps.php?SearchQuery=creator

thx Steve. totally forgot about GFE. worked like a charm.

going to take vids of the terrains i have made recently. some are decent, some ok and a few are really nice, imho.

I've used OBS to record DF gameplay several times. Instead of using the "Game Capture" I use "Window Capture" and select the DF game process / Window. You can also use the Game Bar that is built into Windows 10.

i tried that with obs and still it only recorded the sound from df2. GFE works well.

I record with OBS Studio. You can download It from Google.

i have it but could not get it to record video for some reason. even followed their online help, but it only recorded sound from DF2.

GFE works well, but creates ridiculously large mp4 files.
