Satchel Charge
 
When I drop the satchel and then press the trigger it doesn't explodes. Shooting it also doesn't help.

It's been bugged for a very long time. Satchels don't work in df1

people been trying to figure that one out ever since the game was released. has to be something to do with the game code somewhere but unlike the later versions like BHD you cannot just edit the game code. i been trying to figure out how to edit DF1, DF2, and LW for years but no luck there.. i been wanting to put in new weapons and a better scope in DF1 for a mod but i cant seem to find anything to decode/encrypt the game with.

there was a hack from what i remember but a bigger scope made lag

also nova has some kind of anti cheat here it sends the value for the scope to the server if that doesnt equal up the server kicks you from the server

if you then hosted it like this it kicked every1 out because they got a different scope value

well i was really just wanting a Mildot scope instead of the green crap that it has.. i went as far as to draw dots on my screen for the hold off as a kind of crude BDC with a dry erase marker when i was playing it a lot. got me kicked from a lot of servers because i could aim so fast and so accurately.

well the "zoom hack" was for the 0.5 cal i think (it was x2 x4 x8 x16)
law has x2 i think m4 x4 0,5 cal x8

but when x16 was on it started to massiv lag while moving the mouse

there was the map "three mesas" you could have targets further then 1 km so a scope with a higher value could be of use

i would not consider it a real hack you have still to aim manually

but the real problem behind this was that at some point the players didnt get drawn anymore
we tryed this very long on that "three mesas" map i think it was 1 km only after that distance the player didnt get drawn anymore
let it be 1.2 km im a bit uncertain here (think it was 1 km)
the other problem was the bullet range was also stopped at 1 km or something

to see this we was going that distance to that high distance hill on the map "three mesas" while going on the highest distance hill from the 3 hills in the middle

so neither you could see the player on that hill anymore also you could not kill the player there the bullet just stopped at some point (see able with tracers on)

if you want i can search this information but you could only change from 2x 4x 8x 16x

more information would to be have gathered

there was a guy called samer/blacksalimander/blackfungus or something who sayed he passed that with his "map extender" but uncertain what was done here
