Beta release delayed

"Delta Force Black Hawk Down Multiplayer Beta.

We are going to postpone the launch of the multiplayer beta test until Friday 2nd August PST. The reason for this postponement is that a technical issue arose this morning during the final testing of the beta. After much additional testing it was decided that to release the beta in its current form would be unacceptable.

We apologize for the delay and realize that players are eager to access the multiplayer beta. NovaLogic would like to assure consumers that the additional time devoted to the development of the beta test is vital and will improve the overall standard of the beta. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Well, I personally think that maybe Nova is on to something, Delaying the download of a demo till its ready .. maybe they will do that with the actual games instead of throwing a POS and making us pay $40 for it!

Man this does bite. I was waiting all yesterday, they could have at least told us in the early hours of the day. that just ticks me off. but if it makes the beta better, i will wait till tommoroww

they did leave it late but they were probably trying to get it fixed. but instead they decided to give it another couple of days.

All I can say is I'm glad they work like this instead of another game I play...<cough>EverQuest<cough>...where they release a patch every week which screws up previous patches, then to fix it they bring everything down, just to fix it again and again.

But thanks to that, I've come back to DF! GO GO GOOD GUYS!
