Hi guys, i got a team and visual basic 6! Now could someone give me a link or tutorial on how to make Delta Force Patches. Thank you.

you mean the mod for the game BHD ? or you talking about making a total new patch for the older games DF: Serials

are you sure you know what you're talking about?

a) visual basic is absolutely not suited for anything like that. take some c++ instead
b) i seriously doubt there is a tutorial to write "patches" for df
c) if you'd make a patch, you could only play with otehrs who also have the same patch installed (which also means you/they can't play in any normal nova game anymore)
d) you'd be in serious copyright trouble with NL, because you'd have to work around the cd-check


so i'm pretty sure you're talking about a mod (but 'a)' still applies)

Yes you can make a mod but you need the mod tools from nova, 3ds Max or Milkshape3d, Photoshop or paintshop pro..

think you better off making a mod for the game then try to make a patch for it, their a lot of know how and you have to lrean it not easy.

Well you may laugh but people with the interest learn eventually.
Maybe if we point him in the right direction he will remember us when he is rich and famous.

well...then..if he really wants to do it..he can go to collage...like the ppl at nova or ne other game makers did, ...learn how to do the graphics design....animation..and coding...not get a book on c++ and read it and make a game
