Server Hosting
 

Hey, my friend's try hosting servers on their cable connection from comcast, but no-one can ever join, even when they turn their firewall off, one is on a network and the other is not, so I don't know what to do..thx

try plugging the modem straight into the comp instead of going through the router...I have the same problem and this is what i have to do.

on one machine I believe it does go straight into the computer, the other can't have that happen.
