How Do I Host A Co-op Game In Bhd?
 

dear gamers,

i have done a lot of searches but just cannot think of any keywords to typ in google.
i have readed about downloading a little software called
Master ADDON to allow you to host a coop game
but its a old version and does not work with the newest patch (1.5.0.5) of delta force black hawk down.
any one has any idea how to host a co-op game?
i know its possible as i`ve seen servers hostin co-op games in novalogic
im a noob in hostin so any help or tips would be very apreciated .

You can't there is a patch called coopMenow. Try a search on the forum...If that is not the one... I have used it and it works on like every version.

1.) for DF:BHD "Without Team Sabre added in"

General info:
Simply replace the old dfbhd.exe (in game folder) with the new one in the zip file.. And there you go no CD to play the game!!!!! (game loads faster to).

Tip: before you do anything backup the normal one or move it to another folder were it be safe.

for me i rename the No-CD patch to dfbhd_nocd.exe and leave the normal dfbhd.exe be the same as it is.

host use the No-Cd patch play in stats use the normal dfbhd.exe nova will ban players for playing in stats servers with a edited dfbhd.exe so it safer you have a normal one in the game folder and the no CD patch there side by side.

you can have more then one application in the folder but change the No CD patch to a new name to host with. OK save you headaches

does it mean that usin the no cd patch that i only can host game outside nova?

if it is then how do my friends find my server?
so they will need to join game with my ip,but where to fill in the ip?

i have already done a search on this forum but it came up with nothing. Do you have a website url for me ?
ps: i live in The Netherlands and my english isnt very well

No...you are not banned from nova for hosting a server.

Your friends will be able to see your server fine on the novaworl server...you just can't join any Nova Servers.

It is a NoCD/COOP Patch.

Anywho. You're english is fine BTW. You talk better than some of us native english speakers.

i have tryd the link chief posted it does link to a no cd patch download but after i unzipped it i placed it in the dfbhd folder
now when i double click the .exe its still ask me for a cd
any chance that it doesnt work anymore?
or he gave me wrong link?

Umm... I am not sure... I have it at home so when I get home I can upload it for yah.

You don't have to put it in the DF folder you have to open it then browse to the DF exe file and then click on crack or something like that.

That should be it. Worked great every time on my machine.

use the No cd patch to host the game with IE co-op map mission

to play in stats servers use the stander dfbhd.exe

try not to use the no-cd patch Novaworld.com in stats servers only try to save you from getting banned thats all.

before you put it into the folder rename it, after put it in.

some times you can't replace a exe file get around this rename the Cd-patch to: dfbhd_nocd.exe now you be able to put it into the folder ok. windows is blocking you from putting in or replace the dfbhd.exe rename the no_cd patch ok

Hmm I swear I went into a NovaServer with it but didn't get banned.

The worst part of COOP is there are no COOP maps (like 5 on NHQ).

i have alot of co-op maps and i wanna host them :D
i have tryd the link chief posted the one for dfbhd
i dont have ts.

owya i try to doubleclick the no cd exe outside df folder
just in mydocuments folder but now it gave message:
'Unable to open earlyerrr.txt'

and some other problem occured
when i hosted a coop game my friend cant join in,
he uses the dfbhd pinger and had added my server by ip
every times he clicked on the servername he joined game but left the game instantly.and gettin the message:
"retrieving bad key from server" or something like that
i dont know how this can happen
i turned off firewall and have opend port 17480 of my router
i dont know if someone else would happen the same because i havent get any other players to join game

this link is no longer any good. one may get forward to another site as will. from using it. Porn site or a dead link site ether it got move or no-longer hosted.

How do I find the port that I am using to host the game? Our squad server is down and I am trying toset upa new one but ppl get the bad key received from server and they are telling me that it is with my port. How do I find my port number?
