A quote from the new patch for TS refers to steam versions as follows.

I'm sure the patch will be OK and is great news but about the encryption mentioned in the above quote from the article at:

Do you think it affects the /d switch in any way?

My copies of BHD and TS come from the Novalogic Store.

It does affect the /d switch, which is why it can create a new shortcut. It packs files directly in the pff files and then writes some bytes to the dfbhd.exe to enable the resolution.

It works with the Novalogic store versions and if you select create backup, it will do so.
