Got a new toy to play with
Just received my new graphics tablet for messing around with Photoshop.
Wacom Bamboo http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...com_bamboo.jpg Its fairly basic but seams to work OK. It's small, includes a zoom-scroll control button, 4 programmable tablet buttons, 2 programmable pen buttons and an eraser. The pen also does not need a battery to work. :) Since the company I worked for has packed up and moved to Poland, I now have plenty of time to learn to draw. Tate gallery.....here I come |
ah biotch, very nice m8 :)
will get a tablet some day :gj: |
sweet, how much did it cost?
|
I was thinking of getting a tablet notebook, think it could do the same thing?
|
hmm kind of, but dont get one! laptop is much better :)
|
Yah, I am just debating for school purposes. The one voodoo has is pretty sweet.
|
Got it off amazon for £42.00 inc p&p.
Apart from the drivers it doesn't come with any other software. It is supposed to have 512 pressure levels but it is hard to keep a constant light pressure. I need lots of practice. I have found a program called Gmote which allows me to customize mouse/pen gestures, so I can easily change opacity and brush width with a flick of the pen. |
That sounds way cool. Do you have illustrator as well?
|
I have acquired the adobe suite :naughty:
Just found a better program for mouse gestures called StrokeIt. :) |
