up close sniping(under 500m)=m21

ranged sniping(over 500m)=mcrt .300

Any snipering from 50m - 900m i use m21 :) faster firing :)

anything from 10 - 1000 barret, they just rock

too slow of fire rate bullet is slow too

I would sniper with the M-21. My favorite rifle next to the AK-47.

barrett is waaaay to loud

I only use the barrett sniping on the Dust Devil stock map. :)

for everything else, it's usually the might m24. good quiet kills after you get out far enough. 1000m headshots, whatever you like.

occasionally will use the PSG-1 or M21 for close stuff, but I really like the m24 because of how the muzzle report disperses, making it hard to find.

I dont like the MCRT or the M24 at al becuase they fire too slow (they are bolt action) and with so few rouds in a clip, you have to reload too often.

M21 = 500m or less
Barret = Everything else..

I think what weapon you use depends a lot on your style of playing.

My style is usually to inflict as much damage as I can without getting caught or killed myself. That means I shoot far enough way to not be heard.

I use the M24 because it gives me the best distance and accuracy with the least sound. If I plan on shooting mostly from 800+ then I'll use the MCRT for its extra scope magnification, but I've gotten headshots and moving kills with the M24 from 1000+ meters.

Yeah, it takes longer to reload, but you should use that as your cue to duck and change positions. ;)

m21 no dought all the time

Whateva is right. You sould constantly move to avoid bing chaught. But another couple things thatmight help:

When laying down, always hit F4 to go int 3rd person and check your position. Many times it mght seem like youre hidden wel, when your actually stickng out like a sore toth. And only shoot a moving target when you think yu can get it. THeres nothing worse than a sniper that fires like 15 shots before he ever kils someone.

1 shot 1 kill no exceptions. i use the M24 SWS(sniper weapon system) and usually 700-900m out. wish that i had a guilie suit thoe.

Im with mauser 1 shot 1 kill. I prefer the m24 its overall the best gun for the job. Good optics with the 14X scope and doesnt have a very distinct sound to it like the m21 and other rifles. Blends in more with the sounds of battle.

well 200 m an less i like the psg-1 but anything more i love the 50 cal all time fav sniping gun

you should try PSG-1 it sound even loader then a 50cal barrett sniper rifle do or at lease same.

omg psg thats sucks, its the loudest sniper gun, and what, i think m21 is louder than the barret

the M82 is the loudest... but, since you can fire the m21 and psg-1 faster, you'll hear them more.

like I posted, though... I still prefer the m24. I've had 1000+m headshots, so that's kinda hard to beat in BHD. :)
