LAG & FRAME RATES ECT
 

hi 2 all once again, yesterday i hosted all day without any complaints. 2 day i got 1 person who complained about lag a couple of times & blew the crap of me & left. is this my fault cos id like 2 know as im still new 2 all this.i just added a new motherboard/processor 2 cope with a g-force 4 graphics card & have cable hook up. i also run my settings at medium.my game tells me my frame rate is 63+. is this enough? also done a latency test, they say that optimal should be between 100 & 399 i get around 170. this any good? if not is it possible 2 get lower.does ps: any 1 else go through this??? :*( :*(

u need to find out what lag he is getting

if its frame rate loss its his fault

if its connection lag, u may be hosting more players than ur connection can handle, but u dotn say what connection u have to i cant say for sure. did u ask him what connection he had?

hey thnxs steve 4 the feedback. u & panther have been most helpful recently. as 4 cable comanys the 2 biggest 1s in australia r telstra & optus, im with the latter of the 2 as every 1 told me they were more superior ie: faster downloads & more mbs ect, & im not playing behind a firewall.(sorry but thats all i know about cable). as 4 the bloke who blew the crap out of me he left b 4 i could reply.(maybe they should bring out a new game called whinge force!!).hell even i might buy it lol!!!! & i have played in ohther rooms with simalar problems but i dont complain i just like 2 have a bit of fun & meet new people.:guns: :guns:

It could have been your connection. But it could have also been his/hers. If the rest of the players werent complaining about lag then it was most likely his/her connection.
