the site basic retire
eagle eye been handling it after the owner gone away unknown reason

don't recall if the url address change net or some other

have to ask eagle eye about it! been a long time don't know all the detail only what i can recall about it

it used to be one of my favorite websites and i am very saddened by its failure..

Loved DFB. I was always too busy with NvG to really enjoy other Sites back in the DOTcom Boom though. DFB Presented NvG & Staff with Best Tournament Web Award. Great Fellas.

The map database is currently being restored.

Man, I never could figure out the Map submittion process @ DFbarracks.

The guys here at NOVAHQ had a much better process for map submittion.

But I did like the site, hope they get it back up.

Many people may get back to mapping / multiplayer :P

***UPDATE*** Some FYI for those Interested in DFBarracks. It's currently being gone through to see if the site can be relaunched, this entails a lot of new code thats very time consuming, but it's making progress. In the meantime, until or if Barracks gets back online, the map data base from DFBarracks is being slowly added to DFReloads map data base. So take a visit to see if some old map you're looking for is now there.

Scott posted today. I believe he was inquiring has to why someone wanted to delete a map.

We don't know much about Scott these days, but what we do know is that he's a curious little fella.

Scott and I are both around, we see everything *insert appropriate xfiles type music*

So if You see everything...I've a question. Did you see where I left my car keyes? It's making me crazy looking for them..lol

Depends, there's 5 of us (other three being Steve, Matt and Stephen) but usually only a couple of us are active at any one time, at the moment Scott and I are around but in a few months it'll be another 2

It may be 100% back soon but i'm not sure cause my old login doesn't work and i can't register :huh:
U can download maps / mods / tools and access the forums also post (someone already did)
But for now i think EE has more info

As of Saturday the 22nd, DFBarracks.com is back up, but not all the features are available yet. You can access the forums, and you can now access the map data base and start downloading maps. Hopefully, the rest of the site will be functional very, very soon. Hope to see everyone there.
