Sysdump
for what game is this happing to you in?

do this Un-instill it totally "Add & Remove"

now go to: C:\Program Files\Novalogic\ what ever the game name is delete this folder totally!

now restart your computer

back to desktop re-instill it then update the game.

if it DF: 1 or DF2 make a shortcut on desktop there right click-on it uptop you see " Compatibilty" click-on it (shortcut look up properities click-on it see), down below see "Compatiblity mode" check the box select "Windows 98/ windows ME" then click-on "OK" now use the shortcut to play the game in Windows XP

He may also need to reinstall Direct X, If i remember right it has been known when files get corrupted to cause them.Be sure your Game Cache is empty cause when too many files get in it, it as well can cause sysdumps.

italianmob 04-25-2006 10:42 PM

i did the uninstall thing and the update to Direct X and it still dosen't work!!! but i hav not updated a few things below which it says i should do in another thread...........

-The latest BIOS for your particular motherboard

- The latest Chipset drivers for your motherboard, including the latest AGP Miniport driver

- The most recent video card and soundcard drivers for your system

but i dont now how to get these LOL!!!!

Well first, find out if you have a Nvidia or Ati (graphics) card.
Right click on your desktop, select settings, and it should tell you :).

If you have an ATI card, get the latest drivers from here : https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...ge&folderID=27

And if you have a Nvidia card, get the latest drivers here : http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_84.21.html
All this applies if you have WindowsXP, you can choose your own here : http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

I hope this fixes your problems, I always had problems with my nova games, uninstalling, deleting my folder and re-installing always fixed it, so GL!
